At the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
• define pressure
• derive the equations for calculating pressure
• state the instruments for measuring gas pressure
• state the instruments for the determination of atmospheric pressure
• show the relationship between pressure and density of fluids
• state at least five applications of pressure
• solve simple problems on the calculations involving pressure
